The most angular asymmetric ball ever created by MOTIV
« on: March 16, 2020, 09:48:09 AM »
The Trident Nemesis was designed to create lots of angle down lane.  This asymmetric ball wrap in the Infusion HV (high volume) pearl reactive cover stock will give you the shape you want on those higher volume oil patterns!  The Sidewinder weight block (asymmetrical) will also give you lots of drilling options too given the impending balance hole rule change in August 2020.  This is a good looking ball which really does the job of giving me traction in the oil, shape down the lane and powerful continuation through the pin deck.  It’s a must in my bag!!

With all the factors that involve knocking the pins down; Is it about HOW MUCH the bell hooks, or where/when it hooks to get to the pocket? More hook does NOT ALWAYS EQUATE better, plain and simple.

I don’t care if it’s Storm, Radical, or some other company, as long as I can get to the pocket, here’s reality 101.

Hit harder? No. But I'm going to agree that the Blitz is as awesome as awesome gets. The Nemesis doesn't seem super angular compared to the Supra, but they're trying to zero in on the Storm reaction. They're getting closer, imo
very close.

I have my sources, and I'm getting motivated for a reason. Mama Doom didn't raise a fool lol.

I can't ignore the Tank Blitz any longer since most of my bowling is now sport shot league and tournaments. Definitely getting the Blitz soon and maybe a Forge Fire during the summer

The Supra is as angular and fast off the spot as any other ball available in the market, regardless if it’s a Storm, Roto, etc. It is by far the most angular ball Motiv has ever produced.

I like news tuff as much as any bowling enthusiast... I could just do without staffers who put no more than 5 minutes into their review using the majority of the post from the ball cover sheet. Tell me something objective I can't read on my own.
Just an unbiased bowling enthusiast trying too enjoy the game with each set.

the blitz has been first ball out of the bag on 3 different sport conditions so far.  control is too good for a guy like me whose not extremely accurate haha

All of the buzz words are subjective. However, the way the ball goes thru the pins for a person is pretty clear. When you know how a core is going to get thru the pins, it becomes much easier to know what to do. I liked the way the Blitz rolled, but the recoil was meh. I got trapped with the Recoil on a house shot where the Blitz got me out of jail. Recoil would be really good on tougher stuff where you want to keep it in front of you, but Blitz is good as long as you have head oil.

So this begs the question, with the Desert Tank having the Thrill core but some version of Frixion, how much will it change THAT shape?
