Motiv TV4 cover composition...
« on: January 09, 2014, 07:31:37 PM »
So a friend of mine just gave his Primal TV4 to try out.  I like the core numbers and the ball looks cool...here's the problem: I can't figure the cover out.

I have been in the pro shop business for quite some time now and haven't encountered anything like this.  I did the research and read the reviews searched high and low and I just don't get it.  The cover to me seems like it's a particle pearl.

I used the 900 Global NEAT pads and walked the cover up to T.  When I was done it hardly looked shiny and felt like there was sand included in the mix.  I remember when balls started with heavy load particle covers and they felt the same way.  Most memorable of which was my Roto Grip RS-P.  Even when polished I could feel the grittiness.

Im hoping that someone or many can shed some light on this for me.
