Love my Venom Shock but its already on the weak side for my low revs.  Wonder how new ball will compare to the Cobra or the Panic.

At this point, calling it the Venom Shock Pearl is probably only for marketing reasons.  There have been Gear core pearls in the past (Venom Panic).   

I can't see how putting Hexion Pearl on the Gear core makes a Venom Shock Pearl.  It will probably be a couple steps away from the rest of the Venom series balls.

Doesn't mean I don't like the combination, just odd marketing.

I love, love, love the Venom Cobra, so a new ball with that core is good news to me. But it might also mean the Venom Cobra is soon to be discontinued, so I will have to grab an extra one.

It’s basically what storm did with the Hyroad.  The Hy in Hyroad was for hybrid (right?).  But it then was the ‘legendary’ ball in the Road series. So then we got Hyroad pearl, Hyroad solid. Hyroad Nano.  It’s not the first time the popularity (and name) of a particular ball was leveraged to try to sell a new ball.

It will have the Hexion MFP cover. So a new, weaker version of the Quest. Color scheme is similar to the Paronia. Purple with green logos.

This is what I figured would happen.  Much like the different levels of Helix (Helix=Forza Redline, HFP=United Revolt, SFP=Octane Burn) among others Motiv has had.

What is the difference between this and the Panic?  Not a fan of the Panic. 

Venom Panic = Old crappy Motiv.

Everything after Primal Rage = better Motiv.
