Primal Scream
« on: September 26, 2012, 04:37:08 PM »
The new Primal Scream is now unleashed for medium/heavy oil patterns, if you have not already heard! The scream has a solid version of the whiplash cover which was first used on the 2 cruel and comes at 4000 OOB. This solid version of the whiplash cover still clears the fronts exceptionally well and picks up in the midlane unlike anything I have seen before it. Although it picks up in the midlane, the Impulse V2 core has been tweaked from the primal impulse and allows the ball to be extremely smooth and controlable while still storing energy downlane on some of the longer of oil patterns. The medium/high RG (2.55) and medium diff (.050) is a great combination for control and length while the aggressive cover still picks up where you want to see it on longer and heavier patterns. This new release is an incredible ball to add to any arsenal and will scream back from virtually anywhere on the lane! Be sure and pick yours up today at your local pro shop!

People are referring to what npahr wrote. Yours actually has some information about how you drilled the ball ect. The original post is in no way anything more then the promo information thats posted on their website.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

What you wrote was the TRUTH, but people don't like the truth, so you get negative feedback.
Keep doing your thing Charlest, I like what you have to say.
Have a great day

Charest has been a staple of incredibly knowledgeable information and positive feedback. He aint going anywhere. Ive been a member of this site for 10 yrs and i dont think I've ever seen him portray anything without being informed.

Jeff ain't going nowhere.   ;)

There are others I could see not being able to keep up but not Jeff!

On the staffer issue.  Either staffers have no knowledge/ability or interest in evolving their reviews to basic glowing reports but they feel indebted to the manufacturer for free seed balls so they may just put down an easy blurb with nothing to really back up their report.

Bowlers stats. and lane conditions plus ball comparisons I believe are what most knowledgeable users of this site are looking for....figjams are fine but that's all it is a boast probably more attributable to an easy lane condition than a particular orb.

The question most want answered is how will I match up to said ball vs. the user that posts.

Im not jumping on any bandwagon or trying to get a company to stick out by some garbage review of said ball.. I have thrown every company except jet, lord field and lane 1. Motiv matches up with me best so I speak my mind on what i think of them... I have read staffers reviews on here and disagree that they are following some template, aside from original poster. I do want to hear negative reviews on balls. I think it its good for the bowlers to know before they buy such equipment. But just because a review doesn't meet your standards, bashing later appears?

To all who have posted in this thread,

StickZ and I have talked. I think we now agree on most, if not all, of what was going on here.

Without a doubt, Motiv makes some of the best balls around and has some of the best balance in what their balls do. If i didn't already have a wide spread of types and brands of balls, I'd love to have more Motivs in my collection. Scott and I have been talking about their balls for many weeks now in private emails. The Thrash, Backdraft and Sigma Hybrid are boring holes in my bowling brain to get them and use them. My Recon is Already almost always in my bag at the lanes. He is almost ready to unveil a new total Motiv arsenal.

As much as many Motiv staffers would like to get as many people to see and use Motiv balls as possible, they should post their experiences with them and do real reviews that people can use to make judgments about buying new balls. That is one of the essences of this web site: real reviews by real people, making true bowling knowledge available to all readers of this Ballreviews.

I'd like to thank you for your support and the very kind words.

i punched up the 2 I purchased today. Ball #1 50x4.25X35 box finish w/p3 hole. Ball #2 is 62x5x72 w/p3 hole at box finish. I am taking ball #2 with me to league tonight even though I am sure there will not be enough oil for it. The real test for me will be on Friday in my senior league
