Question about MOTIV surfaces
« on: December 27, 2014, 12:39:08 PM »
I am going to be touching up the surface on my Revolt for the first time and was wondering how MOTIV usually does their surfaces.  I know that when I bought the ball, it was listed as 3000 (4000 LSS).  When MOTIV does this, do they mean 500/3000 (similar to Storm/Roto Grip) or is it something different like EBI where they use something like 500/500/1000/3000 for a true surface?

You can see the Motiv Factory finish guide here:
http://www.motivbowling.com/resources/factory-finish-guide.html

The steps for a 4000 LSS are 500/1000/2000/4000 each step is 15sec. on a spinner.
