Nice vid, I'm impressed with that but not that much, the balls are new, they just put oil on it, the valleys in the balls' surface are the same, the peaks are high, would be nice to see same video but with balls that have 80 games on them because that's how we amateurs play

From posts on this forum, when baked, Motivs ball bleed very little oil (if any) compared to the rest of the manufacturers.

Must be doing something different with the coverstocks....

I think their shells are a little harder,so less oil gets absorb. I've drilled 5 different Motiv balls and the shells are no where near the softness of a Hyper cell let's say.The Hyper cell for example is so soft on the outer shell that my drill bits barely break a sweat going thru the cover.Almost like drilling thru a tub of butter

Exactly what my driller said, he is always recomending motiv because of their hitting power due to the hard shell

I've always questioned throwing motiv since my pro shop is on their staff and all they talk about is motiv, but this vid speaks for itself even though theres some unanswered things on there

It would be interesting to see Motiv do this in comparison to competing manufacturer equipment the way Radical put their Guru head-to-head with other balls. THAT would make for a very interesting video.  :)

In theory, soaking that Jackal in oil should have saturated the pours and we should have expected more of a performance difference. Maybe the ball rotating down the lane and picking oil has a more significant effect on absorption than merely soaking. Or maybe Motiv is onto something.

Regardless, it was fun to watch.
