Title: Primal Fear and United Revolt Ratings.
Post by: Kegler300800 on February 17, 2017, 11:00:44 AM
The Primal Fear is rated by Motiv as: LENGTH 15 HOOK 56 BACKEND 18.

The United Revolt is rated by Motiv as: LENGTH 15 HOOK 55 BACKEND 18.

Is it safe to assume it is the more angular motion of Primal Fear that gives it that extra hook? What does a +1 on the hook scale really mean?

What's Motiv's selling point difference between the two since both are also pearls?

Different motions, I bet.

Yea, with the core numbers of the two balls, I would guess the Primal Fear hooks later than the United.

That's what it looked like in the review on Youtube that Ryan Shafer did of 6 current balls. Including the Fear and new United.

Anyone tried a surface change to their Fear? Also, I feel like a 3000 pad would bring them crazy close.
