QZ 2 vs. Ascent Pearl
« on: January 20, 2014, 05:31:31 PM »
In my typical league shot I start out with my QZ 2 drilled 65x5&3/4x40. This works well for 1&1/2 games then the QZ 2 hooks too much. I was thinking about getting aa Asent Pearl and drilling it the same to use when the QZ starts hooking too much.Does this seem like it should work? Thanks, Mike E

Which QZ2 do you have? The blue or red one?
Red is a hybrid cover while blue is a pearl cover.

Anyhow Ascent will have more length and less backend than both balls. If the ascent starts to early try it with 4000 grit and polish instead the original 2000 grit and polish to increase length

Think about the tribal - i have never had a ball with that length and controllable backend reaction.

gee, Thanks for the reply. I have the blue one. The tribal sounds like a good suggestion. I had also considered the Track 505c2. Heard that was a great ball.
Thanks again
