QZ2 backdraft review

QZ2 Backdraft

Layout #1 4in pin above ring finger, cg 1/2in right of center

Layout #2 5in pin above middle finger, cg in palm

This release has a hybrid cover, which allows it to read the lane sooner than the black/blue QZ2. I’ve found this ball to be stronger than the previous          QZ releases. It complements the black/blue QZ2 very nicely. The black/blue will get better length with a sharper backend, and the backdraft will read the lanes sooner with a stronger, smoother reaction. The 4in pin layout gives a strong yet controllable reaction. When the Cruel LE or Primal with similar layouts are too strong, this bad boy does the job nicely! The 5in pin layout provides a very strong move off the friction. It stores energy better and has a very strong move on the backend!   This ball, as with the previous QZ releases, is very versatile and can cover a lot of different conditions/styles of play depending on the layout.

This is another home run by MOTIV! If you are looking for something that you have a lot of flexibility with layouts and will work on a large variety of conditions, do yourself a favor and add this baby to your bag. You won’t be disappointed!
