It's a mixture. The Octane is more angular and has more backend, but the Tribal is more continuous. The Octane, due to how sharp it is on the back, CAN stand up on you at times if it hits dry too fast or too early. The Tribal blends the transition out better, while still giving you a strong, continuous move. The Rage is a super hard arc, and the Tribal reacts similar just with more length. My Tribal is the ball that always works when nothing else will, in addition to being the first ball out of the bag more often than not. I use it specifically when I have to get in deep and pitch it right and get it to be continuous when everything else is burning too much on the turn and hitting flat. Only thing is that I have to have a bit of track burn in the middle or it can go a little long at those angles.
