The new Tank looks interesting but I was hoping the next release would be a heavy oil ball or something between the Forza and Octane.

But, the Rebel Tank being about $25 more than a Storm SuperNatural, is a very bold move for Motiv. Unfortunately, I think mostly only Motiv aficionados will buy it.

Summertime means more light oil stuff. I'm hesitant to buy the Apex Pearl, since I could never get comfortable with the Apex, but I'm definitely looking forward to the Rebel Tank. I love using the Arctic Sniper on the burn or up the outside at the one house. The original Tank was good, but I prefer the Sniper. Now with a true core in it, it is going to be a beast.
I'm not bowling much this summer, but I'm still looking forward to grabbing this new Tank and a couple of Tags for next season. I don't need any more heavy oil balls. The Jackal is overkill on most conditions. The Vengeance is good for playing a little more left on fresh. But honestly, I find myself using the weaker stuff 90% of the time.
Brett Spangler did say there would be another performance release in July. He mentioned that time frame for the Octane last year, and I believe the Primal Rage was released around the same time the year before. I wouldn't expect a true heavy oil ball, but who knows. They left an opening after retiring the Talon.
