Based on the limited information, I would probably suggest the same. Your shot is quoted as light-medium.
I will give you an idea of what I confront:
I am right handed with 400+ rpm and 18+ mph.
For me, the Shock is the first ball of the night. It is great on my fresh THS and blends the over/under quite well. However, with the traffic I see in my THS, the Shock starts to burn up early. With my cover 3000 to 4000 grit, the Shock can struggle getting real deep. For me, anything inside 20 is too deep for the ball. I could polish it and get a better reaction, but then I might lose some of the early success I get on the fresh.
What may dictate which ball I go to next is when this occurs. Do I get too deep in the 3rd game or is it the beginning of the 2nd game. If it is the 3rd game, I would be tempted to get a Venom Cobra. The Cobra is a little bit weaker than the Shock and gets through the heads much better. I won't be able to jump way to the right, but if it is for at most a game, it won't require a leap of faith to jump to.
If the Shock is too much in game 2, then that may require a ball weaker than the Cobra since I have to stay with it longer. This is where balls like the Tag and Ascent Apex fall. Many bowlers like the Tag, but to me, the cover is difficult to pin down. The sweet spot is hard to find and when you do find it, it can go quickly. Great ball for when it matches up though. The Apex is a little weaker than the Tag, but much more predictable. That is why I mentioned it.
If you were to bowl on more varied conditions, then I might recommend something different. But since your normal shot is already light-medium, not sure it would change much with or without a spare ball. If it was medium-medium/heavy then a combination of Paranoia and Cobra could work.
