Glad to hear that. I'm guessing the Forza, like some other rough finished balls, react better after a break-in period (my Rumble comes to mind). If so, removing the initial polish makes sense.
My interest in the Forza is in comparison to the Optimus Solid and Devour. According to BTM's reviews these three have very similar applications, finishes, lane motions and high marks — the Devour's higher RG being a key difference.
I'm partial to Motiv, own several, and have gotten excellent league results using the Tribal Fire, which they rate as a light-to-medium oil ball with a strong back-end.
What I'm looking for is a medium-to-heavy oil ball with an early reaction — a gap in my arsenal — but most Motiv equipment is stronger than they claim. The Forza's cover is said to take very well to alterations, as your reply confirms. This relieves me a bit, because I may need to tame the ball down somewhat.
