Motiv Tank Blitz video and written review
« on: November 03, 2019, 01:14:38 AM »

Hello y'all! Please take a minute to watch/read our latest review, the Motiv Tank Blitz... This ball is special!

The Motiv Tank Blitz is one of the latest additions to the Motiv lineup.
This ball features the famous Gear core used on the Venom series and the Frixion+ Microcell Polymer coverstock. Motiv found something different with the Microcell Polymer technology first used on the Covert Tank and it quickly became a great piece for a lot of bowlers.

The Tank Blitz is a completely different beast. The first thing I noticed is how strong this ball is front to back. It took me about 5 or 6 shots to hit the pocket and not go brooklyn or through the nose. The Tank Blitz provides an EARLY read and a smooth transition when it exits the pattern. This ball is the definition of smoothness.

I had to play further in from where I usually bowl and once I found a good line, the Tank Blitz offered me a lot of margin of error. Misses outside and the ball surprisingly offered enough recovery to kick the 7 out, while misses inside the Tank Blitz had enough traction through the oil to not go past the breakpoint. I just had to make sure to not miss too far left or too early or the ball would go through the nose.

The motion provided by the Tank Blitz is hard to describe. It is early as most urethane pieces are, but it has way more traction in the oil and way more continuation than urethane. To be honest I never thought I would be able to play that far right with a ball like this one. I was wrong. This ball hooks!

The Tank Blitz has a medium flare potential and combined with the new Frixion+ Microcell Polymer cover, the ball offers a strong midlane read with a slow response to friction. This is probably the earliest and smoothest ball I have ever thrown.

Compared to the first ball that used the Microcell Polymer techology, the Covert Tank, this ball is about a zone stronger than the Covert Tank. It is earlier, smoother and more predictable.

I see myself using the Tank Blitz a lot. On a house shot, this ball will be a great option to blend the pattern and fight wet/dry conditions. The Tank Blitz will also be a great ball for the tournament bowler. It will be a great weapon to use when you need to control the breakpoint and when you need a smoother motion down the lane on short oil patterns, flat patterns and tougher conditions.

Whether you are a league or a tournament bowler, The Tank Blitz is definitely a ball worth having in your bag.

Thank you for watching!
