Summary:
The new Venom Shock Pearl features our new Hexion cover and a dual density weight block, the VSP is the perfect complement to the original solid. In comparison to the original solid, the VSP has a more angular backend motion thanks to the dual density structure and the Hexion MFP Pearl coverstock. The VSP creates easy length, has an amazing response to friction and hits hard. Depending on which house I am bowling league, most of the time the VSP has been the first ball out of my bag. On higher volume house shots, I find myself switching to the ball in game 3 after the lanes break down a bit and my Lethal Paranoia becomes sporadic. I’ve been able to find some more versatility in the VSP bringing the surface down to 3000 without polish, blending different shots more consistently without having to worry about inconsistent reaction. This ball is another must-have in the Shock line, perfect for leagues and tournaments alike!
