Ball Review of New Motiv Thrash Frenzy
Tester: T.J. Yeip

Environment: Brunswick Anvilane Surface
41ft pattern

On the shelf.... This new Thrash Frenzy will not be missed on the pro shop shelves. The color combo makes it look like it just came from the deepest part of the ocean. The color combo is a perfect fit for the name.

On the Lanes... The new Thrash Frenzy is a perfect combination to the Thrash. The length of the pearl cover stock allows you to play in the dirt with confidence. The whiplash pearl cover was a great addition to the already stellar core of the Thrash. When testing this Thrash Frenzy, I was able to get in on the lane and just swing and bring. I haven't been able to do that with confidence in a long time. The Whiplash pearl cover makes a violent move down lane allowing me for greater entry angle to the pocket. This ball made my eyes pretty big when I saw it recover and hit down lane.

In Conclusion... I can see this ball working great for your typical house shot, or broken down house pattern. The Thrash Frenzy allows bowlers to open up the lane and create more miss room then they have ever had before. I can see almost every style of bowler have a place in there bag for the Thrash Frenzy. Unless you have mach 1 speed, and bowl in the oiliest center, everyone should be able to use this ball in complete confidence. First game out of the box with this piece was 3rd game in league. Perfect time for that. Ended up with a 277 game.  All in all Motiv has a ball to fit every style of bowler, and every lane condition. They are growing faster and faster everyday. I'm Motivated, are you?
