Tribal

Just saw this new release on Facebook.  Thing looks awesome . .
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

the venom toxin is not like the IQ Tour pearl?  Low reg, medium low differential, pearl?

What am I missing?

The Fusion Pearl cover from the Primal Rage combined with a new light bulb shaped core called the Halogen Core.  That could be an interesting release.

Watching them roll, their motion looks completely different.  The Toxin is a smoother, more arc like reaction, and a lot cleaner through the heads.  IQ TP is still really clean, but it picks up more in the midlane and is sharper on the back.

Looks like a direct competitor for the gold ball

Motiv has no direct ball that you could compare a IQ Tour Pearl. No low Rg pearl with a strong cover.  Of all the Motiv balls the closest would be a Thrash Frenzy in ball motion strong cover but higher Rg Quadfire core.

If Motiv ever comes out with a Sigma Tour Pearl that would be it's closer comparison.

I'm not sure I agree with this statement......

Several months back, I drilled a pin-up Toxin which is one of my favorite Motiv balls to date. A few months later I drilled up an IQ Tour Pearl (before the Rage was announced) thinking I would get a more aggressive version of the Toxin. The two balls have the exact same pin length (3.25") and are drilled identically. It turns out the balls also react almost identically. Over any condition where I can reasonably use the IQ Pearl and the Toxin, they're virtually interchangeable.

I've since drilled up a Rage (same pin length and pin-up drill), and I got the more aggressive reaction I was looking for. The IQ Tour Pearl is redundant for me, so I'll probably play with the surface so I can get it between the Toxin and the Rage.

You would know better than I Steven.  But, I would have to believe the Toxin's Atomix Hybrid Radial Reactive is overall a weaker cover than R2S Pearl Reactive....yes/no?  The numbers are close on both of their 15's respectively.

Yea, I got the IQTP based on the belief (assumption) that the R2S Pearl Reactive was a stronger cover, and therefore would result in the IQTP being a stronger ball. At least for me, that assumption didn't work out. I've had my several bowlers watch me throw the two balls to either confirm relative performance equity or tell me I'm full of it, and pretty much everyone confirmed what I was seeing.

If anything, I trust the Toxin's Atomix Hybrid a little more because it reads the wet/dry a little better than the shiny box IQ pearl cover. I've read several IQTP reviews saying you should rough it a bit to bring out it's best, and I see the logic. Sometimes comparative specs don't tell the whole story.
