Venom Shock
« on: December 13, 2016, 01:22:08 PM »
Bought a new ball today. As a christmas and birthday presant to myself xD
(Got bday on new year's eve)
It's most likely the last Venom Shock Tore Torgersen will sell. He said it's a great ball, and he has sold so many of it.
(I know they've stopped making the ball of course, I just wanted a light oil ball from what he had brought with him from Sweden) He was supposed to bring the Track Paradox solid, but had brought the Hybrid instead.
Oh well, I'm bowling better with lower oil balls these days anyway.
Trying it out for real tomorrow at the last practice of the year with the club.
Most used:
Motiv Venom Shock (14)
DV8 Grudge Hybrid (14)
Hammer Scandal (14)
DV8 Freakshow (14)

Sometimes.
C300 Swerve (14)
Motiv Jackal LE (14)

Retired:
Roto Grip Sinister (13)
Motiv Jackal (14)

Given to a no-thumber in the club:
Brunswick T-zone (13)

Might stick with Motiv from now on.

I love my Shock!! Tried various surface changes and they all were perfect and they did just what I expected!!!!   Great piece!

I hate the oB surface on all Motiv balls....im not sure what it is. I scuffed my Venom shock lightly with a 3000 wet pad and it came to life! great ball! I still have 2 NIB put away

I tend to agree.  I always seem to have to tweak the surface until I get the reaction I want.

The shock is a great all around ball. It can be used on almost any condition at the right ball surface.
