On the shelf.... This new Venom Toxin Does not hide. It shows it's true vivid colors to all who see it on the shelf. The color combo is amazing.
On the Lanes... The new Venom Toxin has the core of the GT1 and Venom Strike With an new twist on the atomix cover called Atomix Hybrid Radial Reactive. With this new cover/core combo I see Similar ball shape as the Venom Strike with a touch more length and sharper back end then with the Strike. When testing, I saw the advantage of the new cover stock. With my misses left down lane, the Strike wouldn't recover, yet the Toxin did. I actually had the Toxin about 4-5 stronger in the back then with the Strike.
In Conclusion... If you are a bowler that is looking for length with stronger yet controlled back end motion out of the oil pattern you need to get a Toxin. If you are bowling on lighter volumes and need ball motion integrity get the Toxin. If you want a cool looking colored ball get a Toxin. Ok so enough with the sales pitch, If you want a bowling ball that doesn't burn up on the lighter patterns and you like ball motion that you can control and predict then drill up a Toxin. If you need a ball that will read wet/dry patterns amazingly drill up a Venom Strike and Venom Toxin. I personally have this Venom Toxin in between my Strike and my Thrash Frenzy. When I hit the wood house leagues The the three most important pieces in my bag that night are the Venom Strike Venom Toxin and Thrash Frenzy. If you are a cranker your going to love this ball. If your a tweener and you do not want to move left then switching to the toxin will be your smartest move.
