Last year was the only year Ive missed since I started adult league in 2000. 2 years ago we got 4th for doubles and I got 7th in singles. The shot was really good and had great hold. Im just trying to figure out balls to bring so Im not loading 12 like always lol

Bowling on the 24th & 25th of April, I'm expecting dry conditions as always seems to be the case on the 2nd squad of the day. I can give you a shout when I get back to let you know what we run into.

Thanks brunswick for moving bowling ball manufacturing to Mexico.

Now using 900 Global & AMF equipment, scoring higher than when I was using brunswick plus it's manufactured in America by Americans.

Burnt doesnt even begin to describe the shot. Fresh is no better than 2nd shift after the first game. I wound up playing 5th arrow at about 20mph. Shot is not unplayable, just difficult. Dont miss in or it will go through the face and missing out will not carry. I shot 570, 580, and 620 and was ecstatic. Made over $500 in brackets.

If you are looking to make money the answer is no. It's about winning a State Title.

Then I am definitely interested. I am more interested in bowling against other bowlers from across the state and seeing how I stack up.

Better take some shorts, bowled this weekend and the Air conditioner does not work,  glad its only april, U guys bowling in may are in deep trouble, the oil will evaporate before it even hits the lane. had to be 90+ degrees in there yesterday. Thats the dryest lanes Ive seen in 15 years. Plastic ball anyone?

we bowled there yesterday and today was team and it was more than hot in there and we had fresh oil for one game.  So be ready to melt it was over 90 degrees in the afternoon. But over all was a fun time so have fun and remember bowling well is a plus.

Bowled there over the past weekend.  Shot was dry to say the least.  I was playing fourth arrow with my feet close to the gutter and throwing it about 18mph.  I would say I am a little more than a tweener.  The carry problems I had were mostly 8 and 9's other than that it was ok.  I tried almost all the balls I carry but ended up playing a VE on the line I mentioned.  Pure Swing was too much.  My Tornado had a okay look as well.  You don't  need anything to aggressive thats for sure.  Hope this helps and good luck.

Notes from the State Tourney......DONT GO! I was sweating like a ho in church! the lanes were burnt up. I was playing two boards left of 5th arrow with a plastic ball and it was still beakin the nose. Im lucky if I shot 1700 in all events.....invest in more volumes of oil and a functioning Air conditioner. They had a fire in January and spent a lot fo time trying to get ready for the tourney. They shouldve just moved it to antoher place.

your right not good at all and yes they should have moved it for sure. We had a group of 25 go up there and no one did good at all. Very bad trip for us 4 hours and I'm not sure we will be doing that again.

We drove three hours there. I knew that it was going to be dry from all of the comments I got on here, but seriously...I was rainbowing a plastic ball and an old beat up Ebonite Cougar 30+ boards....

Better get a better ball driller, I wasnt having any trouble getting my stuff down the lane even though it was dry but you must have balls drilled for it. Most ball drillers will not drill you something to get this far down the lane ans still make the corner because they will go really straight on house shots. If you ever get in this situation again feel free to shoot me a email or call me I can help.

Thats just it. They didnt oil every shift, and unfortunately I bowled on the shifts that werent oiled. I brought all balls that were drilled to go long, including a few Rico drilled balls. Of the 20 or so bowlers, we had 1 or 2 bowl "decent" because they could fire the ball a hundred miles per hour...not to mention I only got 2 shadow balls...lol

yes the lanes were pretty dry and D A M N hot... was some what hard to swing it as the heads went away 4-6 frames in the first game.

i watched solid9 throw a cell pearl with a funky drilling and shot 700+ on the 2nd shift.. he was playing the middle part of the lane, not alot of swing... just had the RIGHT ball with the RIGHT DRILLING!!!!

Like I said, there are drillings out there that get down the lane on everything.  I work with some senior PBA tour guys that have the same trouble we had up there and we have some drillings Ill bet you have never seen or heard of.  I dont care if your a ball driller or not, we can all learn from each other, and learn something new everyday.  Until I found these drillings i thought I had the longest setups too, but I didnt.

solid I would love to know the secret for my partner and I do okay we are in second in doubles but it was very hard for me and my partner had no trouble with a ball to go long and he used a C-System drilled to go very long and he is third in singles. We bowl on a old house with wood and very dry and not taken care of.  I also agree we can all learn from one another. thank you if you have any help for my house please email me at freealast08@yahoo.com
