2015 Minnesota State Open

Started last weekend, any Minnesotans in here bowl last weekend?  I'm going this weekend.

Well, that was a disaster.  I guess I was not prepared for Kegel's Beaten Path (didn't know the pattern going in) on Brunswick Anvilane surface.  I think fresh was fine, had some good backend reaction, but then it would completely go away and I haven't had enough experience on challenge patterns to adjust.  If I pushed it a board wide it would never recover and if I tugged it, it would cross over.  Higher rev or rev dominant players seemed to have more area.  I ended up at 1550 AE with my 183 avg...

Yes, both houses.  Same pattern, same lane machine, same lane surface.  That is what Chad Huikko told us while we were bowling the team event.
