This tournament is run in conjunction with the Midwest PBA Mary Teubner Memorial Open benifitting Cancer Research. All proceeds from the tournament will go to our charity.
Starting time is 10:00 with an entry fee of $65.00. There will be brackets and side pots available, as well as ball raffles and 50/50 drawings.
The Tournament format is :
6 games of qualifying ( cut to top 32 based on 90 entries )
Round of 32 is best 2 of 3 match play with the #1 seed getting to choose his opponent, then #2 chooses and so on down the list until the #16 seed gets whoever is left
Round of 16 & 8 will also be best 2 of 3 match play, with the highest remaining seeds getting to choose their opponent just like in the round of 32
Round of 4 and Championship match will be 1 game matches, again with the highest remaining seed getting to choose their opponent.
This event does not conflict with any PBA tournament ( the only regions that bowl that weekend are the Northwest, West and South ), so if you are interested in bowling feel free to let me know.
