Anyone bowl Michigan State Tournament? What balls you use, what did you think of the "Challenge" shot they put out as opposed to a house scorefest!?

I must have been playing them completely wrong, either that or Middle Road is that much easier than Beaten Path...

Middle of the road typically will play a little easier cause its a little shorts and Beaten path is a couple feet longer.....What did you finish with? What made them hard for you...curious thanks.

I for one didn't like bowling the entire event without having another team crossing with us.  Made it hard to open up the lanes.  That and the team I bowled with has absolutely no idea how to develop a tougher shot like this to increase the scoring pace.

I would take any advice you've heard in regards to the shot with a grain of salt...

I'm from Lansing though, so if you have any other questions, shoot me a PM...

Why do you say that, you think they play different week to week?  I plan with little practice time there is to throw, PowerSwing, Momentum Swing, and Resurgence........

I've bowled it twice.  1775 scratch all events the first time, and we won't get into my 2nd time lol.

Lanes are really tight, the people that have been scoring play inside, I'm just not good enough.  Had my best look at Royal Scot with my Hy-Road at 4000 grit going right up 10, and had about 2 boards of area left, anything left of that was gone.

Shot 653 in doubles the first time down and won the scratch totals pot.

I had never been to states before, and the shot was not too horrible.  It's playable, just tight.  Ball speed seemed to be key.  I'm a lefty though, so what do I know.

I won't be traveling to Muskegon next year, because there is no reason to drive that far knowing you suck.
