Grand Rapids, MI Pro Oil Leagues
« on: March 17, 2017, 05:46:32 PM »
Are there any leagues or houses that use pro oil patterns on a regular basis?  Or at least something different than the hole I am in now.

Where are you at now?

My best guess would be Spectrum, but it's hard to say. Haven't been over that way in a long while.

Well Lefty, there are only two houses in our town right?  I am at the one that cares more about the laser tag and video games than the lanes.

That should easily give you the answer.  Would rather not actually publish the name...

I know where your going here, and one particular hose that I bowl uses sport patterns, and different oils, and I enjoy it a lot there (challenging house for sure to me).

Btw, you can spill out the center if you please (even in a personal msg to me, I'll gladly share my opinion on what I think of the house oil, or lack of).

I thought there are at least 5 centers in Grand Rapids?  Wengers, Clique, Spectrum, Paragon, Northfield all come to mind..  Aren't there a few more?  I would think Spectrum would have some Sport leagues?  I have a few friends from Grand Rapids, and hear it's tough to get some of that stuff running on a consistent basis.  Even the Paragon Open which paid like $20,000 for first only had a handful of local Grand Rapids bowlers compete compared to the overall field.
