Wisconsin State Tournament
« on: March 10, 2010, 02:52:04 AM »
I am bowling in a few weeks down in Oshkosh and I am just wondering if anyone here has bowled in this tournament yet this year.  I am just looking for how the lanes played, equipment that should be used, and just personal opinions.  Thanks.

i bowled last weekend. on sat. i had s/d's. doubles i had 717 with a pin down wild card @ a light 2000. i slow hooked the track area until it wore in & balled down to a pin up 4000 wild thing & then had to ball down again for game 3
to a pin up polished rattler.(partner & i good enough for 4th in scratch doubles w/1439)
singles pair i followed high rev guys & had to bump an arrow deeper with the rattler for a game & 1/2. then i balled down to a pin up twisted fury pearl for a 662 set.(mediocre pin carry).
team started out tight on lanes 13 & 14 but when they let loose you better keep up. it's either a combo of not just moving left, you may have to soften up a tad so the ball corner's or ball down. kind of finnicky the our pair played.

    good luck!
