« on: May 21, 2007, 03:11:50 AM »
This weekend I'll be at Woodview Lanes in Elgin bowling the ABT Chigoland Open...does anybody here know anything about this place? and is anybody else here bowling in it?

Last I knew, Espo's as I refer to it, had wood lanes.

I bowl in a league at Woodview (formerly Espo's), and I've bowled many ABT events there.  It's a 40 lane center with wood lanes.  They usually save the "house China" for leagues, so you can expect a challenging lane condition.

What else would you like to know?

I'll be bowling this year's Chicagoland Open, as well.  I plan to be there Friday evening and/or Saturday, and of course, Monday.

Thanks Rick.....Yeah I figure on it being a challenging shot. The ABT people don't like it when you put out a cake shot. I'll be up there on Sat night for the 6:30 squad and possibly the next squad if required and like you said on Mon.

Thanks again for the info and I will see you in the finals.
