    Questions about this tournament....

    1) Erin Gore qualified at +188 (which equates to highest female overall). The flyer stated that the highest female overall would get a spot yet the director decided to award the highest female non-casher out of qualifying the High Female Overall spot....was it the assumption that a female wouldn't be able to qualify with the guys? Not to mention it took a spot away from anyone who was the next number.  I'm not one that was the number but I would be a bit sore if I was the next cut number and it meant whether I got a check and a chance to win the tourney....

This is by no means an attempt to take away from some of the great bowling the women did at this tournament....just more a matter of technicality which I feel the tournament needs to address if they want to maintain bowler respect.

    2) The flyer stated the top 2 from each squad got a bye, yet they gave the top 8 bowlers a bye, then the top 4 from that an additional bye...did I miss the small print?

Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts....to make things better, people need to speak out on important situations such as this where situations like this could prevent people from participating....or maybe I'm just way off base here....

Actually it was the top 2 from each squad automatically make it, not that they get byes.  It says on his flyer the number of byes will be determined to get a good number for head to head.  He has always given the top 4 2 byes and top 8 1.

As far as the women go, yes he should have put highest female out of the cash number on the flyer, but he didn't so yes the next person should have been a lil bitter about that.  I don't know if he was thinking that the women wouldn't be able to compete or what, but he should have put the highest out of the number would make it.

    No clue who won though

Not sure who won but it was between Dan Scheden and Joe Tremper.  Unfortunately Jim doesn't have a website that posts tournament results.
