The Carlisle Eagles will be having a 4 game King of the Hill on Saturday, March 5th starting at 10 a.m.

Cost to enter is 30 dollars.  There will be brackets, high game, and elimination side pots.

Bowlers will bowl 4 games and then we will cut the field to the cashers round which is top 25 percent.  with 40 entries we will have to top 10 advance with the top 2 qualifiers getting byes to the round of 4.  1st place with 40 entries is 300,with 20 or more 200.

On Sunday March 6th, Leisure Lanes in Lancaster, PA is having their first of three 2011 USBC Open Championship Pattern tournaments which starts at 10 a.m.  I am not sure of the cost, and I think the format is 5 or 6 games.

Dan,

There is an 8 Game Marathon on Sunday at Town & Country Lanes in Bethlehem, PA. It's a ONE BALL tournament. You get 20 minutes of practice and at the end of practice, you must use only 1 ball for the entire tournament, including spares. The pattern is supposed to be Cheetah. Entry fee is $50 and 1st Place is $750 Guaranteed. Practice starts at 9:30am, check-in at 8:30. It should be a fun/fair tournament!

On Sunday March 6th, Leisure Lanes in Lancaster, PA is having their first of three 2011 USBC Open Championship Pattern tournaments which starts at 10 a.m and practice is at 9:45 a.m.  The cost is $50.00 for the tournament with side action.  There will be 5 games of qualifying with the top 16 making it to single game elimination bracket.  The top seed will make it to the final match, and the #2 qualifier will get a 1 game bye.  1 in 5 will cash with the winner getting $500 based on 45 entries.
