I do! (And I'm actually proud to say it. I even coach some kids that bowl/bowled there and bowl JBTs.)

Garden Palace is a 16 lane wood house. Lately there has been some head/midlane oil with dry back ends. However, you never know what you're going to run into there. A note of warning; there have only been 2 300s and 1 299 shot there this season so far, so it's not like any other house in the area. Your best bets for open bowling are Monday and Wednesday night. There are no lanes on Thursdays from 6 p.m. - close, but there is a good league at 6:30 if you want to go down and watch league bowling to see how people play the shot.

Shoot me a PM if you want to know anything else.

Hey C-hop,

L4Q is correct, you never know what you are going to get there.

I bowled a county tourney there recently. The first pair was very different. Used a 5x4 Absolute Inferno on one late spotting 12 to 7 and a 4.5 x 4.5 Dr Jeckyl on the other lane going 22 to 14.

Moved 4 pairs right and had the same shot on both lanes, but switched to a 6x5 Crash going 14-7.

Bring a good light oil ball, especially if you are bowling on a second shift. The heads don't hold up very long, especially if you have 4 or more people on a lane.
