Looking for a good proshop in Virginia
« on: May 26, 2006, 02:54:20 PM »
Hey guys, I'm looking for a competent ball fitter, someone between Richmond and Northern Virginia (preferably something not too far off of 95). I'm tired of having equipment that doesn't fit right or feel comfortable, It's really annoying and is effecting my game.

Just out of curiosity, anybody ever get fitted at a Bowl America shop?

Sports Plus Carmen Don in Northern VA on Duke St. does great work.  Especially Jim Lewis.

Made the trip up there today, picked up a White dot. What great service, they really know there stuff!

I ended up getting some finger and thumb pitch changes.

Ditto on what DP3 said. Sports Plus is THE place to go! Jim Lewis is great to work with, as well as being a very knowledgeable Ebonite ball rep as well.

Carmen Dons is one of the biggest known shops in this Metro area as well.

I would agree with the rest on this topic that Sports Plus Carmen Don is the best place to go in Northern Virginia.  Jim Lewis and his pro shop staff are very knowledgeable and can get you the best drilling options.
