I've been.... very difficult shot in both the main houses. The teams house (Gates) has synthetics this year and they put out the more challenging shot- seemed like the first 12 boards were flooded, the best shot I had was playing 20-15 with polished, pin over equipment like my Diablo and Solution Power Plus Ex. The doubles and singles house (Olympic) was less tight but still a 3rd arrow to second arrow shot at best, depending on the time of day you bowled. The inside can get a little jumpy with more lineage, I rotated between a pin under Animal, a pin under RoboRule and a pin over bridge Havoc. Seemed duller surface worked best in this house.

Overall playing tighter lines, slower ball speed, cleaner releases seemed to work and carry better. Didn't see many people average 200 for the weekend, and if you can be around 190 you should do well in brackets. I was one of the only guys in my crew to average over 200 in both houses, my high set at Olympic was 631 and high set at Gates was a 638. Good luck with your bowling...

Matt

I just got back the shot was funky all weekend. MSC2471 hit the nail on the head in regards to the shot. I got to 770 in singles I hope that gets me a check. I was playing 15 to 13 then played 25-13. I thinks houses need to invest in a better lane machine to add some constantcy.

Local group of bowlers just got back yesterday and they agreed with what Matt saw as well.  I haven't gotten the full report yet, but the shots were definately different from what I one of the guys told me last night.
