Does anyone know who won the Big Daddy in Philly this weekend?  I heard Bobby Hall made the finals.

Yeah, he did make it into match-play and a was duking it out with a guy from New Jersey, so I'm told.

According to my buddy who finished 12th, Bobby got done in by the Big Four after throwing a turkey. The NJ guy just stayed clean after that, to edge him out!

It was our own Krumpy300. I'm getting the story from him tonight. If he doesn't post something, I'll try to, with his permission, of course.
(He's a great bowler who doesn't get the notoriety he deserves!)

FYI I don't know this tournament, but isn't there a website that posts info about it and the results??

There is no website for this tournament. If the tournament ever went to a bigger house, this tournament could be a hugeeeee success..

It is popular because of its side action and low entry fee.

Krumpy300(Ken) is very modest and wants me to keep it short.

Basically, he stayed away from the big hook and used his (soon-to-be-famous, ((OK I'm embellishing already))) rolling release to float it on/in the oil line. He stayed with a mild ball to stay in control and let the others ... not read the lane correctly. From my sessions with Ken, when I'm trying not stare in amazement, it's one, his ability to read the lanes and know where to play them for his release and, two, his knowledge of his balls and their reactions that make him the bowler he is. Well, his release is pretty special, too.

He came in 2nd last year. At his wife's "suggestion" (she stands behind him and his bowling, a big factor for any man) he won this year.

(Sorry, Ken, that's as short and sweet as I could be, and still cover all the bases. )

CONGRATS, Krumpy!!!

John was having some fun with me posting this knowing how much I love to be in the limelight.....I will be paying him off later to have this post deleted.

Thank you to you and Jeff for the very kind words. It was nice to win after coming up short last year.
