I did not know Brian personally, however, i've rubbed shoulders with him in many tournaments and he will be well known for his abiity to always be close if not for the majority of the time cashing in most events he competed.  

It's never easy, nor is it fair for something like this to happen, it just seems to hit home a little harder when its a person you know and have seen as often as some of the regular tournament bowlers and directors on this site have seen Brian.  

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.  Reflect on this moment and remember, you never know when it will be your turn or someone close to you's turn to be called upstairs.

I totally agree with you there.  That article is so truthful of how he felt all the time, unfortunately.  When I would ask him why he didnt go to a particular tournament he would always say that no one asked.  Especially if it was a team event.  I thought he was joking but in reality... I never asked either... not beforehand.

Brian was my teammate and although he could wine better than anyone, he was a good natured person and would shut that crap up if you told him to.  I will miss him at the Triple Threat Tournaments ( A Former Champion) and in league play.  Also the emails he would send me right before bowling that he may not come and I would not answer so he was forced to.

Rest In Peace Brian!

I hope everyone thinks hard at the way we treat people everyday and look past ourselves to see that sometimes their actions go deeper than the surface.  Brian was a very melancholy person at times and I truly wish I could have understood and listened a little harder and let him know he had a friend in me as well as a teammate.  I hope he knew that but can't be sure.
