From Buzz Goodman on the PBA board:

Tom and I would like to take a moment to thank all the bowlers who were at Carolier Lanes this past weekend. We would also like to thank our sponsors, Brunswick, Turbo Products, Dexter Shoes, KR Bowling Bags and Morich Bowling Products for their support. In particular we would like to thank John Prokopec, Chuck Garner, Chrissy Wissinger, Brad Smyth and Fred Fanoun for being at the tournament to help the bowlers.

We will be posting a complete breakdown of the tournament on the Brunswick website within the next few weeks. We will also be mailing the results to all the players who participated and if you weren’t able to make it there, I will have additional copies at my tournaments for the next few months. If you live too far away to visit, simply drop me a note with your name and address and I will certainly add you to our mailing list.

We had 164 different players (12 more than last year) and 291 total entries (1 entry down from last year). Not bad considering the economy!

The winner was Yannaphon Larpapharat from Thailand. Second was Mike Rose Jr from Rochester, NY. Third and fourth were Gary Shultis from Levittown NY and Tim Gillick from Milford, CT.

The sweeper winner was Chris Werner from Rochester, NY and runner-up was last year’s champion, Dan Maclelland from Saginaw, MI.

Once again, thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing you at next year’s event.

Tom and I would also like to add a note of thanks to the PBA for allowing us to post this event on their message board.
