1st Annual NJ/NY singles classic!!!

All  NY/ NJ Bowlers come out this will be a big Tournament for years to come.
Entry fee is $150 for men and $125 for women.
 (2) 5 games blocks then field cut in half for another 5 games then cut to top 24 players for a 4 game block then cut to top 5 players for stepladder finals.
This event will have a ton of brackets and plenty of pots.

Thanks for the info, NLPS.  I have a question; maybe you know the answer.

If the entry fee is $125 for women vs. $150 for men, why is the women's 1st place prize 1/2 the men's ($2500 vs. $5000)?

Doesn't seem to make sense, unless the expected # of women entering the tournament is lower than the men (reasonable), but that's not what the flyer says.  It says the amounts are both based on 172 entries.

Vinny,  just follow the link that was posted.  The rules (PBA members CANNOT enter), location, etc are there on the tournament link.

the 1st NY/NJ classic was a success. 172 men and 75 women competed. their were many notiables in the top 24.

Mike Newman (this guy is a scoring machine)
Mike Mullin
Mike Rose jr
Joe Stillman (this guy is tring to get band from everything MANIAC)lol
JD Santiluca (sp)
Roger Gardener

I myself finshed in 19 which was not bad and won 2 pot and had two seconds not a bad weekend and not a bad tounament.
