Rick's tournaments are always the third Sunday of the month.  He has them scheduled all the way out to July.

mrspba,

I have run my tournaments for several years on the 3rd week of each month... I have contacted several regional centers to say "hey, lets work together and pick saturdays and sundays that work well together". I can honestly say that only Berks, East Lincoln Lanes and Suburban Bowl-A-Rama have stuck to their word.... Locally we, as in Terry Miller, Jimmy Plessinger, and The Dietz's and Cory Moore-that helps promote tournaments at East Lincoln kinda of fell into a nice scheduled of the 2nd week of the month for Suburban, 3rd week of the month is mine and the 4th week of the month has been typically East Lincoln. I run the tournaments to try to meet the demands of my bowlers, not to put alot of coin into my owner's pockets... I charge super low lineage and give balls away at different tournaments and so on... I don't hear too many negatives about my tournaments and also, I put a yearly schedule out WAY in advance so that bowlers can plan.... The 2011-2012 schedule was set in July and sent out in 2 schedules, one had the 2011 tournaments and the other one has the 2012 tournaments. I hope you can attend, we usually get 30-40 on my "regular" monthly tournaments and the Don Kauffman Memorial gets an avearge of 70 plus and the Roto Grip / Storm Challenge usually get 50 plus...

I know I always post the pattern for tournaments... IF you wnat to explore how flat this pattern is...

Go to www.kegel.net. , go to pattern library and then page down to "OTHER TOURNAMENTS" and look up the Bowling this Month pattern... My pattern is based off of this pattern... I don't want to scare anyone away, but... I said it would be flat, and it is... When I say I make it like you were bowling in the 60's and 70's... I mean it... I won't state it will be a grind and have people average 220 plus and not cash... You MUST be good at making spares this coming weekend...

I need a wall! Too flat for me....

LMAO! Someone will light this pattern up and the rest of the field will chase.... Hey, Thats like every other tournament! Just stating an obivious fact.... I am very crusty today.

If it is not on the gutter I have no chance or if I am ahead by 4 pins going into the last game I have no chance...

LMAO!

Rick see you Sunday and I have a group coming with me!

Bowled in the 70s with a yellow dot for one year!

Easiest bowling I've ever done.

Down the 10 board and then there was a day I bowled down the 9 board.

How could one miss the pocket!  Cake!

Today, where is that oil going to be from house to house and day to day?

Regards,

Luckylefty

PS of course when I bowled in the 60s I couldn't miss the pocket either....but those were rubber balls and I remember LOTS of 9s.

The last two years it has averaged out to 78 bowlers, the 1st year we have 40... My tournements I run usually get 35-50 people, but the Don Kauffman tournament has been great for attendance for us... Across ther board all tournaments locally have been down, so if I get 60-70 would be great, but I do have anumber of people messaging me and texting me to hold spots for them, if they all show up, then about 75 people

Thanks for attending and see you on Sunday...

The Ravens game will be on the TVs that hang down between every couple of pairs... You won't miss a beat.

Thanks,

Rick
