Hi folks,

Im looking for some options for a league on Friday nights. There are a few leagues in NH, one in Merrimack and one in Manchester, but they are more casual party leagues, and im already in one of thoes on Thursdays.  I would even consider a scratch league, though im only averaging high 180's low 190's right now.  I would also be interested in weekly, monthly, tournaments held on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sunday mornings or afternoons would work too, but as I work Sunday nights at 9pm, anthing that goes later than 5pm can be tricky.

Thanks in advance for any information.

JD

There's a good men's league on Fri nights in Lowell MA. 20 five-man teams, hdcp starts at 6 pm. I think there are still some teams that may have spots on their roster.
PM me if you want more details, etc.

Yeah JD, the only mens league around here is Fridays in Lowell at Brunswick Bowl.  Wednesday at Stadium we have the Newcomers leaque which is all mens and that is pretty competitive or Thursdays in Raymond (thats coed but more of a mens league).  And for tournaments, the only thing like Bill said are NEBA's.  But unless you like traveling to CT or RI about now until next spring when they are back in Mass and northern CT, you don't have much.  I would love to try to get something at our house, but going through BNE is tough to get scratch tourneys and the such.  Really the only thing we have going on up here are the tourneys at Dover, Keene, State Tourney and the Association until it becomes tournament season like up in Shelburne, VT for the Champlain Tourney.  Thats a great weekend get away and a very competitive and high scoring tourney.  Other than that, not much more.  I know I'll be bowling more NEBAs next summer with Jeff Bedard and Miles Coplan.  Would be nice to get more local guys bowling them, but its like pulling teeth.  Good luck man.

Thanks for the replies guys.  Right now my fridays have been taken over by other commitments.  If im on the same works schedule next year though, that would be a great league for me as I have Fridays off.  I was tempted by the thursday league in Raymond, as I bowled that a few years ago, but I bowl with friends already on thursday in Merrimack, and didnt want to give that up.

I had a great time in the Sports leagues in merrimack this summmer, was good to see some guys from Stadium there too.  I think next year they want to host one thursday night up there too, because of some lane issues we had.  If so I will be there for certain.

I plan on doing all the tourneys I can this year, will be in Manchester in Nov.  Too bad Raymond split last year from us, as I dont have an average there and at this point there is no way I can complete at them scratch, the scores are very high out there imho.

Anhow, I do have to occasional Friday night free, so maybe I will pop back into Stadium on Friday nights to see if they need a sub,  it was a really fun league and I had a good time.

Hopefully I will see you this summer in manchester Jarrett, if not good luck to you.

JD, Craig is going to try to run a 2 man, scratch, sport shot league on Thursdays during the summer as well as the Eliminator leaque on Mondays which will now be a singles league, YES!!!  I'm definitely bowling that one this summer as well as NEBAs with Jeff and Miles if he can get Sundays off.  Those should give you a couple options this summer as well.  See ya.
