Has any bowled this tourney this year?  If so can you tell me about the shot and why are the scores so high?

Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback BRIZMO.  I just came from the Hamtramck and you are absolutely right.  It ia wide open shot and I saw multiple 258 games and above.  The house is only a 24 lane house and it was 8 to a pair.  This tournmanet is definately for the scratch bowler to win or a really great 190 bowler.  What alos makes the tournament is that the people who run it do a great job and they are very hospital.  They have like 3-4 people in the office and they have about 6 kids getting scores.  the bar staff was bringing out jello shots LOL.  It was really nice.  I look forward to going out there again next year.

Thanks,

He should get pins taken away from him anyway.

Jeff, may I please have handicap at your next tournament?  I need it!

Briz, that's not the CJ you are thinking it is...LOL Was not a thing wrong with the left last year. Shoot, they should let me do 'em, I bet they have a run at the pro shop on dull balls. LMAO That Alien would beam up out of your hand and return home to Elite HQ. ROFLMAO

Another little side note, the high end of the house plays better than the low end as well.  So if when drawing you get a decent pair, where you'll bowl mostly on the high end, and not come back to the dreaded low end, you can do even better

This tournament is made for the classic 230 + bowler, that goes to league and tanks and tanks and tanks.  I go in there with a 220 or so average, yet there are guys that are as good, or better than me going in there with 180's...who do you think has the upper hand?

If you can get on a big squad, you can win tons of money in jackpots and brackets, so even if you don't win the $25,000 getting on the right squad can make you some nice money.
