Flyer says it will be their 10 game pattern, which has more volume and the scores are a lil lower on that until they open up late.

How are the turnouts? Usually pretty good around 40 bowlers? Side action good?

Pretty sure it wasn't that high but I could be wrong.  I think 330ish won.  2 years ago this one sold out the 1st squad but they usually get 60 to 80 total entries for both squads.  You showing up tho could scare away a lot of guys oh mighty one!

I said I wasn't sure I was there too.  Elysia shot 300 the last game to miss winning by about 20.

Also their 10 game pattern doesn't favor the left or right.  There's hang to both side and its old wood.

Mike I'm not bad mouthing the tournament at all but you're claiming that the shot is very difficult but 230 and 240 avg winning the tournament should tell you its not that difficult

I'm sorry but where did I say it was difficult?  All I said was the 10 gamer has more volume than their regular shot.  I've won on both and avg 250 on both of them so neither one is difficult at all but last year they changed their 10 game pattern and the scores were lower then the previous 3 or 4 years but by no means are they tough.

When you say single elimination match play, what is the format? best out of three games, total pins for 2 games or what?

Thanks,

Steve

Does anyone know the outcome of this tournament?  When I was leaving, Dustin Carp or Karp shot a 299 to take out one of the leaders, Jeremy (not sure of last name) in sweet 16 match play.

The entries were not as strong as expected, I believe there were 40 entries total, which included re-entries.  Lanes were interesting, seemed to open up later in the day, but due to old wooden lanes, seemed like every pair was considerably different depending on the carry down.  It was like the first shot was always a guess.  Good times as always though. Thanks to the staff for running the tournament.
