There were about 77 entries and unfortunately quite a few no shows. 21 bowlers made the finals. All bowled 3 games and the top 12 advanced. One more game was bowled and field cut to 8. Another game was bowled and field cut to 4. Those 4 bowled a 6th game with total pins for the 6 games to determine a winner.
Jerred Poff became the first bowler to ever be +200 for the 4 games of qualifying in this tournament with 1003 for his 4 games.
Tommy Gollick had the high game of the tournament at 290. There has never been a 300 game. Pretty sure he is the first left hand bowler to win it.
