King of the Hill Shootout

Tournament Rules

1. The 1^st Annual Chambersburg Area King of the Hill Shootout is open to all current USBC card holders (80 Entries Maximum).
2. The tournament will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012, beginning at 9:30 am at Nellie Fox Bowl, 3587 Molly Pitcher Highway, Chambersburg, PA 17202 (717) 375-2222. The second leg of the tournament will be held at Lincoln Lanes, 2071 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17202 (717) 263-4511.
3. Entries will open on March 1, 2012. Entries will close at 9:15 am, March 11, 2012.
4. The tournament is Scratch (No Handicap).
5. Bowlers must check in at least ½ hour before scheduled starting time.
6. All bowlers must present their USBC sanction card when checking in.
7. In order to speed up the process of check-in and standings updates, lane assignments will be determined by order in which entries are received.
8. The tournament will start at Nellie Fox Bowl promptly at 9:30 am. Practice will begin at 9:15 am. After the first 4 game set is completed at Nellie Fox, the tournament director will announce the start time at Lincoln Lanes. BOWLERS MUST BE AT LINCOLN LANES TO START THE SECOND LEG ON TIME. TARDY BOWLERS WILL BE GIVEN A ZERO (0) FOR FRAMES MISSED.
9. Each Bowler will bowl four (4) games of qualifying at each center, beginning at Nellie Fox Bowl. Each bowler will skip one pair of lanes after each game.
10. The eight game totals will determine final standings. If there is a tie for one or more positions, those prizes shall be added together and divided equally between the bowlers tied.
11. Tardy bowlers will not be permitted practice balls and given a zero (0) for each frame missed if maximum number of entries has not been met. Bowlers not in the bowling center by scheduled starting time can be replaced by a bowler on a waiting list with NO REFUND.
12. Entry fee will be $50.00 - $16.00 Bowling Fee, $32.00 Prize Fee. $2.00 Expense Fee.
13. Walk-ins will be accepted (If Available) from 8:30 am – 9:15am. The day of the tournament.
14. ENTRY FEE MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY FORM. No Refunds.
15. The prize fee will be returned 100% the day of the tournament. Cash ratio for the tournament will be at least 1 in 4.
16. There will be a $45.00 fee, plus any assessed bank charges, for returned checks.
17. Make checks payable to Lincoln Lanes. Mail entries to Lincoln Lanes, 2071 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17202. No personal checks will be accepted the day of the tournament.
18. Telephone credit card reservations will be accepted up to the end of the day on March 10, 2012. Please call 717-263-4511 for phone reservations.
19. USBC Rules will act as the governing rules for the tournament.
20. Tournament management reserves the right to settle any and all disputes.
