Hope everyone bowls well.  I'm taking a back seat this year and working it with Gary.  I'll be in and out of the pro shop all day if anyone needs anything.  The pro shop will be open for any of the players to use the spinner and stuff like that.

Once again I have to work.  I was thinking about doing it but it is almost $300 for non-members.   Tommy I believe I was talking to you about this time last year also.  I am from Kens.

It looks like we're going to see a pretty good turn out this year.  Roster shows 127 entries.  Hoping to see high scores on this one.  If you're in the area stop down and check it out.  We'll be holding ball raffles thru-out the tournament as well as others.

What a great venue...I will always remember it as the place I shot my first PBA 300 game...

The rest of my games weren't so hot but it was cool to do it right under Thunder835's banner...LOL

Gary was an absolute super host!!!

Can't wait for next year!

We try hard up here Beans.  I watched your 300 game, and my friend got the last shot on camera.  I really hope you come back next year.  To everyone else who bowled, thank you for making this another great tournament.  Our local bowlers love to come out and see you all perform.

Congratulations on shooting the 300 game this past weekend. What bowling balls were you using this weekend since Lane # 1 isn't registered?

Threw a freshly drilled Nitro/R on the fresh 2 games but I never threw the ball before and didn't really know how strong/weak it would be overall. Left a bunch of washouts and 2-10 combos for 191-168 to start. Switched to a weak Mission and shot 300. Game 4 I left 5- 10 pins and a 2-10 for 184 and then really struggled with my spare game. Numerous 2-10's and untimely 10 pins made it a struggle for me just to cash.. I was very happy especially having to throw different equipment for the first time in 7 years and still having to throw 14 lbs..  I can tell you this quite honestly, If I was throwing my Lane#1....I may not have shot 300 but I know I would have bowled better overall..

There is something to be said about when a top notch national PBA player switches companies and struggles for a few weeks. I am by far not a top player but I am feeling the effects of trying to match up with other balls.

Thanks Tommy and be sure to tell the bartender and Gary "Super"neau thanks for a great weekend!!

Will do Beans. It was pretty nice to watch you bowl.  I knew you weren't using Lane #1 and I had heard that you were using the Nitro but I honestly thought that was a Vibe in your hands.  That thing made a pretty hard move off the spot.  Not many were playing the line you were playing.  You and D' Entremont were playing similar lines.  Hope to see you up here next year!!

At least someone can bowl under my banner! LOL. I have bowled 2 games on my banner pair and I have a 267 in game 8 that got me in the finals and Sunday had a 217....So I am averaging 242 while Beans is averaging 300...NICE!

Thunder,
I was watching you bowl most of A squad.  Mostly because I was keeping track of Jordon and Jack.  But it was nice to watch you as well.  On top of that you seemed to really make Jordon and Jack comfortable.  Being their first time and all, you really made an impression on Jordon.  He was really battling all sorts of problems all day long and yet, for the first time he did't seem to shut down and completely give up.  I really hope to see both of you next year!!!

I could tell Jordon was a little nervous. He asked me a few questions about the lane courtesy and other things. He did settle down a bit after he got a few games under his belt. He is a nice young man and hopefully continues to participate in future regionals. As far as Jack, that was a very impressive show he put on. He never let anything get to him even after his 180 in game 5 or 6. He came right back with 230 and bowled great all day. It was good to see he won a match on Sunday to finish in the Round of 8!

I will definitely be back next year and all the years following!
