It is a synthetic lane surface, in pretty good condition.  Somewhat higher friction synthetics, but from what I remember about the house shot is that it's VERY over-walled.  Meaning that if you don't have a ton of hand and can get way left and just wheel it, your in a bit of trouble.  As a tweener myself I found it very difficult the last couple times I bowled there to get a consistent reaction.  Hooked to hard if the ball was slightly right, and never even considered hooking if the ball was slightly left.
