Love that place.

One side is better than the other.  The side to the left when you walk in seems to have better conditions for some reason.  The only real bad part is the scoring system.  Kids use it like a video game and most of the joysticks are busted.  It took us almost 30 mins to enter our names one night.  Overall not bad.  Do not bring very strong equipment.  Most people bring Medium to dry lane balls.  Saharas, Vapor Zones etc...

It is now closed for renovations. New owners bought it. Not sure when it will open again, but rumor is there will be synthetics and a total revamp of the bar, snackbar, etc.

I really don't have an opinion on that house one way or the other.  I've bowled Counties there (singles, doubles and team) and have had mixed results.

What I can tell you is that outside the 6-board is pure sandpaper.  Talk about bounce!!!  I've bowled on lanes that are dry, dry, dry on the outside, but here, the extreme outside is very extreme.

I bowled a tournament 2 yrs ago and to give you an idea of what it was like .... ummm... majority of bowlers familiar with the place were using URETHANE!!!! (red & black Hammer, Angle and C300 U-dots)  I had no idea as it was the first time I've ever been to that house.  Weakest ball in my bag was a highly polished Intense Inferno!  I tossed with loft beyond the arrows and once it hit the wood, it jumped LEFT!  Haven't bowled there since.

Have heard rumors they've got new owners and will be making renovations (i.e. synthetics, etc.)  Only time will tell.
