Playdrome Rose Bowl (Allentown, PA) and Our Family's Pro Shop Presents: Summer Scratch Series
Are you looking for some scratch action over the summer months? Look no further! Beginning with our first event on May 8th, we will be running a monthly Scratch tournament. We will be running events in May, June, July and August with an Invitational event at the end of the season. Each month will feature a unique tournament format and lane condition! 16 spots will be up for grabs for the Invitational. The 4 winners of the monthly events will AUTOMATICALLY qualify for the Invitational. The remaining 12 spots will be determined by a season long points standing.
The May 8th event will feature a 4 game qualifying block with the top 8 bowlers advancing to an 8-man bracket finals! All 8 bowlers who make the bracket finals are GUARANTEED to cash for a minimum of $65. Other cash spots paid based on a 1:5 ratio.
Check-in starts at 9am. Tournament practice begins at 10am.
Entry Fee $40 ($27 prize fund, $9 lineage, $2 expenses, $2 Sunshine Kids Foundation)
1st Place GUARANTEED $350, Last Cash GUARANTEED $65
Brackets and High Game Pots will be available.
No house patterns will be used!
This is an adult tournament series. No junior bowlers will be allowed to participate.

Rules for the Tournament:
1. This is not a USBC certified tournament however all USBC rules apply. All bowlers must be USBC sanctioned adults. No Youth Allowed.
2. Entries close at 10 AM the day of the tournament. Check in begins at 9:00am. Practice starts at 10 AM.
3. Entry fee is $40. (Bowling $9.00, Prize fund $27.00, Expense fee $2.00 Sunshine kids donation $2.00) Prize fund is returned 100% on the day of the tournament.
4. This is a scratch, singles tournament
5. Formats may change for future events at the discretion of the tournament committee
6. Bowlers will bowl 4 games across 8 lanes top 8 Bowlers Advance to Bracket Finals
7. 1:5 cash
8. Tournament committee has the final decision on any situations or problems.
9. Ties in the finals will result in a 9th and 10th frame roll-off.
10. Optional high game pots and $5 brackets will be available.
11. No PBA bowlers who have ever earned "Exempt" status
12. No Checks! Cash Only Day of Tournament
