bowl 4 games, cut to top 50%

Suppose to be a 42 foot pattern

First ive heard of it so not sure how the turnout will be but i know of nothing else going on that area this weekend.

Had 21 guys, most unorganized poorly ran tournament i have ever participated in.  Took over 6 hours to complete the tournament.  The pattern was one of the fairest ive bowled on in a long time but the tournament director had no clue how to run a tournament.  took 701 for 4 to make the 1st cut, then 658 to make the top 5 and thats with 50 pins bonus for each win.  I got lucky and ended up winning but itd be safe to say that this tournament wont get off the ground.

By the way after bowling in this it makes me respect how guys like you and walton run your tournaments even more then before.

York is Sunday if any interest, you have to call Alex to get a spot though, only taking 45 guys.

Yep i know what you mean.  No prize fund, no results, no brackets until the tournament was almost over and then he still couldnt get half the stuff right.  I agree with 100%, the pattern was fair on both sides just too bad there wasnt someone there that actually knew how to run a tournament.  I do wish a few directors would get in touch with Fairfax and get that pattern from them.  I know it was suppose to be a 42' flat pattern but not sure on the volume.  Hopefully he will learn from that disaster but the bad thing is 15 of the people that were there wont come back.
