Great source for area tournaments is http://www.40boards.com/

They have something listed for the 14th. I think it is at Colony Park North. If not I am sure someone here will correct me.

Colony park is on the 15th. Pending on where you are, they are holding a Shark pattern tournament at Lord Calvert that weekend too. But that one is also on the 15th.

July 15 - Colony Park (York, PA) Rt. 66 8 game marathon
July 15 - Money Bags is at Brunswick Columbia (Columbia, MD)

Sunday July 15
Check-in time: 11-11:45 am
Start time: 12 pm
Pattern: - Kegel Broadway - 37'

Format:
Round 1: Entrants bowl 4 games of qualifying, switching pairs after each game. Top 40% advance to Round 2.  Every pin in qualifying counts!

Round 2: Semifinals
Qualifiers 1-3 will receive 1 Match Bye; 1 game Eliminator finals ;“Half the field Advances”; Match-ups will be determined by qualifying position. Higher seeds bowl lower seeds.

Round 3: Championship Finals
Heads up Showdown!
Higher Seed from 4 game qualifying block must be beaten twice by lower seed in Finals.

Well I will show up for the tournament at Lord Calvert....and see how many entries they have. As of last night she told me they have the whole of 4 people who have pre-paid for the tournament.
If there are no entries, I will be driving to columbia for the money bags tournament.
Either way, I am doing some bowling this weekend.

Only 4?  That's lame.  Either way, I'm bowling on Shark there this weekend.  Tourney or not.

He posted it on the forum. Check in at 12 start at 1. 60 entry I think. Good amount of side action.
Barry and the crew always have a good amount of entries.
 The people at clavert said they were getting calls about it so maybe they will have a nice turn out. I need the practice on the shark pattern,  but also need to try to make some money....so I will be bowling somewhere.
