I would like to poll the Northeast Folks and figure out a good house to host my new tournament.  I'm looking for one that bowlers would enjoy travelling too from the upper states, MD, DC, NJ, PA.

Suggestions thus far:

B.A. Shirley - 6450 Edsall Road Alexandria, VA 22312 703/354-3300 40 Lanes

AMF Annandale - 4245 Markham Street Annandale, VA 22003 703/256-2211 48 Lanes

B.A. Dranesville - 46940 Woodson Dr. Sterling, VA 20164 703/430-1350 48 Lanes

AMF Alexandria - 6228-A North Kings Highway Alexandria, VA 22303 703/765-3633 48 Lanes

B.A. Bull Run - 10641 Balls Ford Road Manassas, VA 22110 703/368-6256 32 Lanes

Please let me know your thoughts!

Personally, if these are the only choices we have to deal with, then:

B.A. Shirley and AMF Alexandria, would probably be the easiest and most accessible houses to find, for people from outta state.

    Just my 2 cents.

Hey Steve....  Anything that's off a major highway is good.  What kind of format are you thinking about running?  You can PM if you don't want to post it yet.

US Bowling in Alexandria might be easy to get to.  On Pickett St in Alexandria, you can get to it from 395 (Edsall Rd exit) or 95/495 (Van Dorn St exit).

I haven't bowled there since it changed ownership so I can't comment on the lanes.

    100 S Pickett St
    Alexandria, VA 22304
    (703) 370-5910

    Steve,

This is an easy center to get to from either 95 or the beltway.  They have 34 wood lanes.
