House shot?  I think I'll pass on the 2 hour drive to bowl on a house shot a thon.  It's a shame that your going to run a 10 game scratch event and then screw it by using a house shot.  That's a BS waste of time.

Across 10 games, the cream will usually rise to the top anyways.....

KWPBA22035,

First thing is im not running it, just posting it for people.  Secondly, who cares what the pattern is, if you are good enough you will adapt and find something and like wabullets said most 10 gamers, the best usually do find a their way to the top.

Now on theres another 10 gamer next week at northside lanes,  I posted it in another topic, that is usually a sport pattern.  Last 10 gamer was won with +80, so feel free to come to try that one if your looking for a more challenging pattern

Im sorry but your wrong on that, they will get 90 or so brackets there and at the hagerstown doubles tourney thats on a dead wall, they get 100 singles and 30-40 doubles brackets.  Guys feel they can compete on walled up house shots.  Its a sad thing, but its true, stats prove it.  Id rather bowl with 60 guys on house pattern with 90 brackets then 30 on a pba or sport pattern because like I said the better players can adapt to anything.

I bowled the doubles event in hagerstown for the first time last year, in october, got in 100 singles, 50 each set, go 279, 268 first 2, lost 17 which trust me is not easy to swallow, but i was still in 33 and won 30 of them, so how can you say house shots and brackets are not a good combo?  If anything they get more brackets on the house shots, because on those easy patterns, everyone feels they can shoot 300.  Like I said its a sad thing that bowling has come to that, but it is what it is!
