TheMezz,

It is fun to see you make posts about something you know nothing about.   We still are in business, selling mostly older equipment online.   We also have brick and motar proshops and don't believe in the business practices of using the internet to devalue products like the bigger internet sites have done for the last several years, so we only sell older stuff online.   These practices, I believe will eventually bring down the brick and mortar shops who everyone depends on for drilling, coaching, advice and other intangibles.  The internet should not be used as a place to devalue a product.  ProShops cannot come close to the volume of the bigger internet websites and also cannot compete and stay in business or expand their services with prices that offer 10% or less profit margins.   We have over 6,000 older balls that we sell on a daily basis.  So if anyone is looking for something older, and I mean as far back as 1990, let us known and we will be glad to check our inventory.

I usually don't post much, but someone pointed TheMezz's post to me and I thought I would respond.  I have noticed in the past that TheMezz thinks he knows all what is going on in this industry and thinks he has an inside track to the interworking of all companies, internet sites in bowling.    TheMezz,  stop spreading your lies and untruths, rumors, or someday, someone will put you in your place legally,

 Pat,

I understand your reply. You are a rare person to be able to come on here and reply to things like this with the straight forward answers you've given.

However, while I agree with you about the things you've stated, I must say that your site is looking a bit "dated" and could use some freshening up.

When people visit the site, you need to let them know that you are dealing/carrying NOS stuff. Otherwise, they may reach the same conclusions that the guys were speaking of, especially when you show three year old stuff as "NEW" and "JUST ARIVED".

Pat,

Definitely, make it clearer on your site that those older balls are still in stock.

I've visited your site a few times over the years looking for stuff -- I'm not a pro shop, but a hobby driller who drills for just myself and my wife -- and I saw all this older gear and figured, "there's no way they still have THAT."

I think you need to make it clear that yes, you do have THAT in stock. Now that I know you have older gear in stock, I'll surely check back more often. I like to drill older stuff from time to time when I'm trying to craft a certain look (particularly on dryer lanes).

I should have contacted you to be sure, that's my fault. But if the Web site made it clearer, I bet you'd get more business.
